Pete Lorenzo Pacheco

December 7, 1960 — November 29, 2023

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Pete Lorenzo Pacheco, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Pete was a remarkable individual who led a fulfilling life and left an indelible impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Pete was born on December 7, 1960, in Ogden, Utah, to Bernal Pacheco and Mary L. Cabrera.

He was a very loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was an amazing friend and touched many lives in a positive way.  He loved helping everyone he came in contact with.  He was an man of his word, loyal, and very forgiving.

Pete dedicated his career to serving his country as a computer programmer at Hill Air Force Base. Pete also proudly served in the United States Army.

He enjoyed partaking in activities such as golfing, traveling, camping, fishing, and indulging in a good beer and smoked old-fashioned weekend.

 Pete's  was a  member of the Catholic Church. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary, three brothers; Rudy, Paul, Andy, his tio Ben, and cousin David (Oso).

Pete is survived by his daughter Xanette, granddaughter Alexcya, great-granddaughter Ling Ling, great-grandson Bubbas,  grandson Daven, granddaughter MaLeah, his son Pete, his best friend and grandson Anthony, granddaughter Zowii, his honey daughter-in-law Cassie, granddaughter Karissa and grandon Elias, his siblings Ramona Cabrera, Pancho Cabrera, Marty Cabrera, Sandy (J.R.) Stotts and Randy Cabrera and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Following the services, we will be celebrating Pete's birthday and life at the VFW in Layton, Utah at 4:00 p.m.  Family and friends are encouraged to bring food as it will be a potluck.  Thank again for everyone's support.
