Philip Prusse

Philip Robert Prusse, 68, passed away July 22, 2016.  He was a resident of Ogden, Utah.

He was born September 28, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Alfred Robert and Zona Ashworth Prusse.

He was raised in Bountiful, Utah.  Philip graduated from Bountiful High in 1965.  He worked in the trucking industry for most of his life.  He loved the outdoors, and he was often fishing, hunting, or camping.  He loved to laugh and always had a ready joke and a smile.

Philip was the middle child of seven.  He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred Prusse and Zona (Ashworth) Prusse, son Jason Prusse, and two grandchildren.  He is survived by his sons; Brandon (Shellie) Prusse of Roy, UT; Brian (Sarah) Prusse of Syracuse, UT; and Cameron Prusse of Salt Lake City, UT; and 13 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
