LAYTON - Phill Knighton Bodily went peacefully to be with the Lord in his home on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the age of 91.

Phill is predeceased by his father Robert, mother Emma, five brothers and three sisters.

Phill is survived by his loving wife, Rhea of 67 years. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 16, 1946. Also surviving are his two brothers; Robert and Calvin.

Phill is lovingly remembered by his three sons; Roy (Pamela), Loy (Victoria) and Dennis (Gail), two daughters; Connie and Cindy, 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Phill was born in Syracuse Utah on the November 21, 1921. Phill graduated from Davis High School in 1939 and went on to Weber State College. Phill served in World War II in the United States Army Air Corps, he was a supervisor at Hill Air Force Base and retired from the Layton City Police Department.

Phill enjoyed singing, fishing, gardening (DX5212 tomato), BBQing with his family, long drives with Rhea, practical jokes, and 23 years snowbirding in Arizona.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
