Phoebe Kay Reinacher, 77, returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 25, 2011. She was surrounded by her loving husband, children and grandchildren.
She was born November 21, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Bertley Kenneth and Phoebe Mathias Keyes. She graduated from Ogden High School.
On February 7, 1953, Kay married Robert W. Reinacher. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on January 5, 1955.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held the position of 2nd Counselor in the 28th Ward Relief Society.
Kay worked as a bookkeeper for Sears, Stevens Henagar and Angela Maries. After her retirement she served as a missionary and volunteer at the Ogden LDS Family History Center.
She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. Her hobbies included reading and crocheting.
Kay is survived by her husband, Robert, two sons, Randy, of Ogden; Kenneth, of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Peggy (Bill) Emery, Salt Lake City; Cindy Foxley, Layton; Lori Thomas, Ogden; a sister, DonnaRue (Dewey) Mortensen, Syracuse; many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, LeAnn Newey and her eldest son, Steven Reinacher.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29th at 11 a.m. at the Ogden Adams Ward Chapel, 3775 Porter Avenue.
The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
