Phyllis Eileen Bemis
CLEARFIELD a" Phyllis Eileen Bemis passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. She was born February 10, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to Frank Kleinpaste and Helen Marie Ramby Kleinpaste. Phyllis married Warren E. Bemis on December 7, 1953 in Fairborn, Ohio.
Phyllis was raised and educated in Ohio and traveled throughout the world with her husband. They resided in Clearfield since 1977. Phyllis retired from HAFB as a Packaging Supervisor after 30 years of service. As a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Phyllis took great comfort in the church and its members.
Phyllis loved nature and exploring Yellowstone Park. She loved to cook and she enjoyed reading, puzzles, watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her.
Survived by three sons, Gregory Lee (Nancy), John Harry, and Jerry Paul (Gwen), four grandchildren, Sarah, Mike, Derrick and Fred and one sister, Joan (Paul) Brest.
Preceded in death by her husband Warren E. Bemis, parents and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 796 South Mountain Road, Fruit Heights. Friends and family may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services at the church.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, UT.
