Phyllis Marie Wiberg Gordon

In loving memory of Phyllis Marie Wiberg Gordon, 88, who passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 in McKinney, Texas.

She was born December 19, 1919 in Riverton, Utah the daughter of John Irving and Marchell Page Wiberg.

Phyllis was reared and educated in Riverton, Utah. She lived in the Clearfield/Syracuse, Utah area for 50 years. She has resided in the Allen/McKinney, Texas area for the last seven years.

Phyllis married William Johnson Gordon on March 19, 1943 in Ogden, Utah. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1994.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest joys in life were her family and her faith. She loved to quilt, crochet and garden.

Surviving are two sons, Eugene Gordon, Bellevue, WA; John Gordon, Rathdrum, ID; two daughters, Marie (Keith) Bennett, McKinney, TX; Marcia (Richard) Jeffs, North Ogden, UT; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four brothers, Page Wiberg, Rod Wiberg, Scott Wiberg, Dean Wiberg, and one sister, Annalene Swenson.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Harriett Watkins Daines and brother, Robert Wiberg.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends and family may call Saturday one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
