Phyllis Lindgren Hartley, 89, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013. She was born on July 6, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Carl Richard and Mary Josephine Preattie Lindgren.

She attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High.

Phyllis married Lynn C. Hartley on April 3, 1942. She worked at Utah General Depot and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Her main goal in life was her family. She was always the hub of love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Karen (Scott) Vanleeuwen, Marriott-Slaterville; Sharon (Warren) Johns, Sammamish, WA; Richard Lynn (Sue) Hartley, Riverdale; Kaye (Randy) Moore, Marysvale; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one sister, Claire (Wayne) Mount, Lincoln, MA.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son Scott L. Hartley; infant daughter, Judith Lynn Hartley; parents, two sisters, Joyce Shaw and Berniece Thornblad and brother, Dick Lindgren.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
