Phyllis Marie Robinson Loghry

July 24, 1934 ~ October 16, 2014

Our loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Phyllis Marie Robinson Loghry, 80, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014.  She was born on July 24, 1934 in Burchinal, Iowa, and raised in North Dakota where she graduated from Hazelton High School.  She lived in California for many years before moving to Utah in 1967.

Phyllis married Claude Ray Loghry on April 10, 1954 in Ely, Nevada.

She worked at Ogden IRS for 11 years and retired in 1979.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Andrea (Steven) Larson, Logan, UT and Patricia Keller, Ogden, UT; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary (Myrt) Robinson, Minnesota; and sister, Sharon (Dave) Kowalsky, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ray Loghry; parents, Bill and Leora Robinson; sister, Dora Jean Sciermeister; brother, Dennis Robinson; and her loving dog and companion Peaches.

Private family services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
