Preston Howard

Preston Howard, 25, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in West Jordan, Utah.

He was born May 15, 1985 in Layton, Utah, the son of Kurt Warner Howard and Kimberly Brown.

Preston lived and attended school in Utah and California. He had worked at TDS and Quality Tire.

His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his son Brayden, his family and friends. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding and wakeboarding.

He was a giving person with a good heart who enjoyed helping others, no matter what the task might be. He had a positive outlook on life and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son Brayden Jay Worthen, parents Kimberly (Dan) Timmerman and Kurt Howard, sisters Bridget (Aleks) Howard, Tera (Wes) Novack, brother Aidan Howard, grandparents Richard and Yvonne Brown, Jim and Janet Howard and Paul and Barbara Mullins, and great-grandmother Dorthea "Gramps" Russell and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by great-grandparents Dale and Afton Elison and great-grandfather, Gordon Russell.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
