R. Joel Farnsworth

Joel Farnsworth passed away Friday, May 18, 2007 from terminal cancer.

He was born September 5, 1949 to Joe and Karlene Farnsworth.

Joel grew up in Ogden and later moved to California where he was employed in San Francisco and Davis. He returned to Ogden in 1978 where he met Janet and together they raised their family.

Joel will be greatly missed and remembered for his love of all of his family, friends, music, flowers, the ocean, warm sunny days, and his four legged pals, Saki and Pepper.

Joel is survived by his parents; his wife, Janet; daughter, Kristina Pofek; step-children, Shari and Sammy Avery; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Sandra E. Berkenbile and Julie Dorey.

In honor of Joel''s wishes he will be cremated. Private family services are pending.
