R. G. Hardy

R. G. Hardy, 82, devoted husband and father has joined our Heavenly Father, wife Alice, son Blaine, and sister Pat, on December 5, 2009.

He was born April 25, 1927 in Ely, Nevada to George and Edna Hardy.

On December 31, 1949 R. G. married Alice Wall.

He was a very loving and humble man. His passions were his family, friends, genealogy and his dedicated service with the LDS Church. His lifetime love and hobby was the time he spent raising championship horses.

R. G. is survived by his children, Peggy (Brad) Solomon, Nancy Hogge, Suzie (Bill) Krise, Kathy (Blaine) Hardy and Jim Hardy; a brother, Warren; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may call Saturday, December 12th from 9:30 to 10:45a.m., with funeral services to follow immediately at 11 a.m., at the Country Meadows Ward Chapel, 3628 South 2700 West, West Haven.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to R. G. Hardy Charitable Fund at America First Credit Union to help with funeral expenses.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West.
