RaeAnn Allen
December 31, 1956 ~ June 16, 2022
HARRISVILLE- Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, coach and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on June 16, 2022. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed the blessings of raising her family.
A New Year’s Eve baby, she was born on December 31, 1956, to Raymond and Maxine Grange. RaeAnn was the oldest of five children and one foster sister. She graduated from Weber High in 1975.
On March 9, 1984, she was sealed for time and all eternity to the love of her life, Darin Allen, in the Ogden Temple. RaeAnn and Darin are the proud parents of five children and five grandchildren.
She worked for Grand Central (Fred Meyers) for several years before starting a family. As her children grew older, she began working for Weber School District. RaeAnn enjoyed her role watching over elementary children, and later, aiding kids with special needs getting them to and from school.
RaeAnn was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many roles including Relief Society President, Primary President and Stake Relief Society.
She had many hobbies including playing sports, reading, singing with the Madratones, quilting, and spending countless hours serving others. She was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed watching her kids, grandkids and family in every sport they played, so much so that she took her role as honorary umpire very seriously.
RaeAnn is survived by her husband, Darin Allen; and her five children, Matthew (Michelle) Allen, Amy (Dustin) Markland, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Allen, Marcus (Nicole) Allen and Kyle (Maisen) Allen. She was the happiest with and is survived by her grandchildren, Tylee, Ryder, Railey, Brock and Abby. She is also survived by her mother, Maxine Grange; and siblings, Polly (Steve) Petersen, Stephen (Brenda) Grange, Michael (Joy) Grange, Bruce (Tresa) Grange and foster sister, Virginia Yazzie (Pete) Howard; mother-in-law, Joan Hancock; in-laws, Steven (Rebecca) Allen, Kim Allen, Brian (Kris) Allen, Lynette (John) Gerritsen, Lisa (Wayne) Shiramizu; many nieces and nephews; and a bonus extended family, the Hancocks.
