RaeLynn Sharp Evans
November 6, 1954 ~ December 30, 2020

In the early morning of Dec. 30, 2020, our wonderful mother, grandma, aunt, sister and daughter, RaeLynn Sharp Evans, passed away after the sudden onset of a rare illness. After a short, valiant fight, she left this earth and made her way up the stairway to Heaven.

She was born to Tom and Joyce Sharp on November 6, 1954 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.

She met the love of her life Mitchel Evans, and married on January 28, 1978 in Ogden, Utah. Mitch passed away just a few days after their 30th anniversary.

RaeLynn loved spending her time fishing with her husband, kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed camping trips and spending time outside. She was a loyal fan of the Utah Jazz and Utah Utes. She never ever missed a game!!

Once her grandkids got older and into sports, she made it to every game. She sat in the bleachers cheering them on with pride beaming on her face. She was so proud of each and every one of her grandchildren and she let everyone know it.

She worked for many years at Wangsgards, where she eventually retired from. She was always happy to greet her customers with a smile on her face. She was loved by her co-workers and always made everyone feel like family.

RaeLynn is going to be dearly missed by so many. She brought so much light and happiness to those who were lucky enough to have her in their lives. She always made you feel like you were at home and had the most infectious laugh. All of our lives will be different without her here by our sides. As she has embarked on her next journey into the arms of her love, we are not going to say good-bye. We are going to say, see you later. Tell Dad/Grandpa we love him and miss him. Have him show you around, and save us a space. Until we see each other again. We love you, Rae.

She is survived by her parents, Tom and Joyce Sharp. Her Brothers, Drew Sharp and Colby Sharp. Her sister, Kama (Terry) Wilson. Her children, April Evans, Alisha Evans and Courtney Evans. Her grandchildren Trenity (Austin) Levi, McKiel Levi, Michael Stephens, Braxton Evans and Carlisle Evans, plus many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death with her husband, Mitchell Evans and many of her in-laws.
