Raissa Louise (Copiskey) Poire

Raissa Louise (Copiskey) Poire formally of Proctor, MN passed away on November 20, 2016 in Ogden, UT at the age of 70.

She was born on March 26, 1946 to Stanley M and Raissa P (Horbatiuk) Copiskey in Proctor, MN where she grew up and graduated high school in 1964.

Raissa studied business at UMD and Minot State University

Raissa is a former Sales Representative at Customer Link.  She loved horses and the mountains.  She loved to do canvas work and was an avid reader, a social butterfly at her building.  She loved doing genealogy for the church and was a strong member of the LDS faith.

Raissa is survived by her father, Stanley “Bud” of Duluth; daughters, Traci (Josh) Ennis of Ogden, UT; Renee (Larry) Emberson II of Danbury, WI; and Heather LaDuke of Superior, WI, brothers, Stanley (Char) Copiskey of Saginaw and Thomas (Karen) Copiskey of Duluth.  As well as 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Raissa.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 6 p m  at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  521 Upham Road, Duluth, MN.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
