Ralph Bradfield

Ralph Loraine Bradfield, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the George E. Wahlens Veterans Home. He was born on September 19, 1918 to Fraklin Dee and Ethel Agusta Strange Bradfield in Sigurd, Utah, by Richfield.

He served the Army from 1941 to 1944 during World War II.

After returning home, he married the love of his life, Sarah Summers in 1944. Their marriage was later sealed in the LDS Temple. In 1951 Ralph and Sarah moved to Riverdale where he resided until his death. Sarah passed away in December of 1991.

Ralph worked as a welder''s helper at the Defense Depot of Ogden.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Ward Clerk for 6 years, enjoyed selling church magazines, and was an avid home teacher.

Ralph enjoyed working with wood, liked music, playing the guitar, saxophone, and piano, and camping with his son and friends.

Ralph is survived by his son, Donald Lee (Karen) Bradfield; 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah; daughter, Carol Joan; parents, Frank and Ethel; brothers, Merwin, Farris, Eldon, and Norris; and sisters, Beth and Velma.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
