OGDEN, UT–Ralph Albert Briggs, 89, resident of South Ogden passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022, surrounded by his children. Ralph was born on June 7, 1932, in Hooper, Utah, son of Albert Lyman and Loretta Linnie Painter Briggs.

He married Joyce Andersen from Preston, ID on January 15, 1952. Ralph and Joyce enjoyed traveling together.

Ralph is survived by his four daughters and one son, Vicki (Karl, deceased) Englmeier, Louise (Jim) Garcia, Sharon (Boyd) Hess, Kenneth Briggs, and Shirley (Brent) Cottle; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Briggs; and his dog, Skippy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Briggs; son, a granddaughter, and great-grandson.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
