Ralph Alan Hammerle "Fritz"
February 16, 1957 ~ March 18, 2013
In the early morning hours on a beautiful spring day, Ralph Alan Hammerle, better known as "Fritz" returned to his Heavenly home from an apparent heart attack.
He was born February 16, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Norbert and Margaret Haas Hammerle. Fritz was the second oldest of four children. He grew up in Kaysville where he graduated from Davis High School class of 1975.
He was married to Susan Schryver and later divorced. They are parents to three beautiful children, Nichole, Nickolas and Emily. For the last 15 years Fritz chose to spend his life with his best friend and companion Jackie Kelly.
Fritz owned and operated Fritz''s Automotion where he was a master mechanic. He developed many lasting friendships through this business. Fritz had a connection with the outdoors, a passion for any outdoor activities, including skiing, snowmobiling and car racing. He was a true thrill seeker. He won many awards for motocross and car racing. He was an excellent driver.
Fritz will be remembered most for his Carmex chapstick, flip-flops, shorts and sunglasses year round and his long ponytail. Fritz loved to sing especially country music and had a talent for mimicking any entertainer.
He is survived by his father Norbert, brother Benny (Kathy) Hammerle, son Nickolas, daughter Emily (Jeff) Wadman, companion Jackie Kelly, Dylan (Malorie) Brimhall, Dustin Brimhall and many friends and family.
Preceded in death by his mother, brother, sister and beloved daughter Nichole.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 12th Ward, 1039 E. Crestwood Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
