Ralph H. Harrison BOUNTIFUL – Ralph H. Harrison, age 90, passed away October 11, 2009. Ralph was born, raised and lived nearly all his life in Bountiful, Utah. Born October 24, 1918 to Hannah Jane Holbrook and William Harrison and raised on a farm on the East Bench. He served in the Army during WWII in the Philippines and Japan. He married the love of his life, LaVaun Eakle, on Nov. 20, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Theirs was a life of dedicated companionship. Together they owned and operated the Town and Country Market in Salt Lake for 33 years. After retirement in 1980 they enjoyed fishing, gardening, biking, snowmobiling, motor home traveling, family and friends. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Karen Schriever and Shirlynn Gildea (Bruce), nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Marsha Harrison and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Woodland Hills Ward, 640 S. 750 E. Bountiful. Friends may call Thurs. from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Friday 10 – 10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
