Ralph Hatch

Ralph passed peaceably in his home May 24,2022 after a long battle with kidney failure.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to True and Leah Hatch on August 30, 1939 but spent most of his youth in Bountiful, Utah. He married Deon Jackson on August 28, 1959, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many leadership positions and he and his wife, Deon, served two full time missions together where they loved to serve the Lord and assist the other missionaries.

Ralph was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved to spend time with his family. Ralph was generous and was always looking for those he could serve.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Deon and his children, Mark (Sherri) Hatch, Lori (Jim) Murray, Mike (Angela) Hatch, and Rebecca (Steve) Chapman, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents, 11 siblings and his granddaughter, Brooke Hart.

Family would like to thank Inspiration Hospice for all their time and loving  care.

A small graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. under the directions of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
