Ralph Wayne Kendall
SOUTH OGDEN a" Ralph Kendall passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2010 at his home in South Ogden, Utah, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Ogden, Utah to Dewane and Lola Boralho Kendall on August 8, 1939. He was a proud graduate of Ogden High School, Class of 1958.
Ralph loved his many beautiful rose bushes, his ceramic figurines, and his two cats, Muffin and Babe.
Ralph is survived by his best friend and brother, Arthur Kendall, sister Norma Scott, his aunts, Mary Pilarczyk and Ruby Pilarczyk, brother-in-law, Chester Pilarczyk, and many nieces and nephews including Brynlee Pilarczyk and McKenna Pilarczyk who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his special "Grandma Carol" Berrier and cousin Linda Pilarczyk.
He was preceded in death by his father Dewane and mother, Lola, grandparents Joseph W. and Caroline Boralho, who raised and cared for him most of his life; uncles Thomas Pilarczyk and George Pilarczyk, cousin Therea Pilarczyk and his favorite cat, Sandy.
The loved ones of Ralph would like to thank Mary and Ruby Pilarczyk for their unconditional love and devotion in taking care of him for the past 39 years, and to his brother Arthur for helping to take care of him also.
The family would like to thank cousins Ken and Joe Pilarczyk, Donovan and Tammy Head for helping out whenever needed. Also thanks to cousins Michael and "Timmi" (Kimberlee) Pilarczyk and dear friend, Ryan Lawrence, for taking him fishing and to family dinners and just getting him out of the house once in a while.
The family would like to extend a special thanks you to Dr. Trask and the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital, the whole team at Applegate Hospice, especially Megan, Launi, Lori, Ashley, Mike, Peter, Julie and Dr. Qader. Also, thank you to Dr. Nancy Zega, Diane, Janice and Gerilyn and family friend John Giles.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.
Family will meet with friends at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made at any American First Credit Union in Ralph''s name.
