Ramona “Mona” Farr

Our precious and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Ramona “Mona” Farr passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her home in South Ogden. Mona was born on September 20, 1930 in Tucson, Arizona to Ramon and Trinidad Martinez. She was the youngest of five brothers and two sisters. She married Larry Farr in 1993 and together, spent many happy years traveling and seeing the world; he passed away in 2004.
Mona was an active member of the Catholic Church and attended Mass regularly. She was a strong woman in her beliefs, as well as very generous to all of her friends and family.
Mona is survived by her four children, Yolanda (Craig) Gray, Yvonne Gallegos, Johnny (Betty) Encinas and Susan (C.P.) Beasley.
She was the proud grandma of 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, of whom she cherished and adored. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother; her family was her life.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th St., Ogden. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
