RaNae Barbara Heindel

RaNae B. Heindel, 83, passed away peacefully Friday, December 16, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born August 20, 1939 in Malad, Idaho to William W. and Viola Opperman Williams. She was raised and educated in Roy, Utah.

On May 11, 1956, RaNae married Dennis Lee Higley. Together they raised six children, Kevin and Tammy Higley, Hooper; Bret Higley, Farr West; Bruce and Dixie Higley, Plain City; twins, Kelly and Kerry Higley that we know for sure she is so excited to see again; Sandra and Bobbi Higley, Roy.  RaNae has 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two four-legged ones.

On December 29, 1979, RaNae married George F. Heindel in Sunset, UT. Together they had one son, Chad F. Heindel of Roy.

 RaNae’s whole life revolved around her children. She worked as a bartender and waitress and provided everything her children needed. She loved to cook for everyone. If she found out you liked something she would make sure she had it or made it every time you stopped by.

She loved spending Sunday's with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren watching football together. She enjoyed decorating for all of the holidays.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Hooper Cemetery, 5300 South 6300 West. The family will meet with friends Tuesday, December 20^th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
