Ranae Rhees Linford

Ranae Rhees Linford, 82 passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She was born on February 9, 1934 the daughter of Reuben G. and Thelma L. Ward Rhees.

She married Hugh R. Jacobs, together they had three children and later divorced. Ranae married Seth James "Jim" Linford on March 17, 1976 in North Ogden. Jim passed away on January 6, 2004.

Ranae was an amazing mother who was devoted to the success of her three children. She excelled at gardening and kept a meticulous home. Ranae will be remembered as an elegant, gracious, loving, and beautiful woman.

Ranae is survived by her sons, Bart (Janeal) Jacobs and Brad Jacobs; daughter, Laurie Benson; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Reuben "Butch" Rhees and Raymond (Vicki) Rhees; and sisters, Geniel (Kent) VanKampen and Connie Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, and sister, Frances "Pert" Burt.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
