Randy Blake Christensen, 71, Hooper, UT. Peacefully went “home” on August 25, 2023. Randy was born to Doyle and Dorcas Christensen on September 12, 1951.
He worked until retirement in sales and welding.
Randy loved his dogs, Doobie and Bubba, they were his “kids”. He had several Doberman pinchers throughout his life. They were his favorite breed, he said because they are loyal.
He loved golfing with his brother, Scott, tying flies and fly fishing, he certified in scuba diving, just for the experience. He spent several summers riding his motorcycle and loved watching tv shows, news, politics and had a strong faith in God. He donated to multiple charities and made us laugh when he complained about all the mail, he received because of it. He loved to attend his granddaughters’ basketball and football games.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, brother, San, and his son Terry. He is survived by his children, Tammy, Nina, Wesli, and Amber. His brother Scott (Josie), sisters, Laurie (Robert) and Margo. Several nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Thank you to the Envision hospice team. Shasta, Stefanie, and Seleste for helping his journey “home” be comfortable and peaceful. Randy requested no service be held. We as a family are upholding his wishes. He will be missed greatly, and we pray he is living his best life with God, on the other side.
Rest in peace, we love you.
A word from Scott:
To my brother Randy, I’m so glad that we got to spend together before your end in this life. It was nice to talk about the old days, our ups, and our downs. I was so happy to pray with you. I know you’re in a much better place setting on the side of God. I can’t wait to see everyone in heaven. Love you, brother. Scott.
