LAYTON a€" Randy Allen Miller, 61, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his home. Randy was born March 26, 1948 in Upland, CA, the son of Raymond and Mary Davis Miller. He married Diane Ricks on November 11, 1995 in Elko, Nevada.

Randy was a Christian, loved writing poetry and playing the guitar.

Survived by his wife Diane, sons Michael Miller, Portland, OR; Andrew Miller, Seattle, WA; stepsons David Ricks, Salt Lake City, UT; Bryan (Natalie) Prescott, Richfield, UT; seven grandchildren and sister Chris (Jim) Little, West Covina, CA. Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends and family may gather from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
