Randy (Shorty) Osborn, beloved, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, age 63, passed away on Monday July 4, 2022, surrounded by his family. Randy was born on November 23, 1958, in Ogden, Utah to Marvin D Osborn and Goldie E. Wright Osborn.
Randy married the love of his life JoAnn Logan, in November of 1975, they were married for 46 years and had three children.
Randy enlisted in the U. S. Army Reserves and worked in construction, but Randy’s real calling was in the automotive industry in sales where he worked for 31 years at Cutrubus Motors in Layton.
Randy loved camping, hunting, fishing, and spent many hours outdoors with his family. He loved to coach his kids and grandkids in baseball; he coached for Layton City for 36 years.
Randy is survived by his wife, children Tandi (Kevin) Hedgepeth, Travis (Monica) Osborn, four brothers, one sister, six grandsons, three granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, brother Nolan Osborn, daughter Brandy Osborn, and mother-in-law Ann Logan.
Friends may visit with family Monday July 11, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
