Ransom Ben Quinn, 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Friday, June 8, 2012.

He was born August 27, 1925 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Ransom and Leah Hunsaker Quinn.

During World War II, he served his country as a pilot in the U.S. Navy.

Ben will be remembered for his love of family and his loyalty to his employers at Ford''s Finance and Insurance and Bank of Utah.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth McKinstry Quinn, daughter, Debra (Ron) Peterson, son, Randy (Charlotte) Quinn, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Joan (James "Bud") Shepherd.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Tom.

The family wishes to thank Nurse Julie Lee and the staff at IHC Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Ben.

Ben requested a simple graveside service which will be held Friday, June 15th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local charity for those in need.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
