Rashelle Lyn Anderson Patrick
Rashelle Lyn Anderson Patrick was unexpectedly called home to her Heavenly Father on January 6, 2020. As a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, she has had the opportunity to share her love with so many people in so many different places.
Rashelle and her family had many wonderful opportunities to live in many different places making friends everywhere that they lived. She spent time living in Salt Lake, Orem, Spanish Fork, St. George, Mesa, Tucson, Cabot Arkansas, Ankeny Iowa, Nauvoo Illinois, Benton City Washington, and most recently Brigham City and Layton Utah. She attended and graduated from Mountain View High School in Mesa, later attending classes at UVU.
Rashelle always valued making memories and made many in her lifetime. She was a dreamer and would do everything she could to make her own dreams, and those of her loved ones, come true. In 2016 Rashelle accompanied three of her siblings to Disneyworld, a place she loved dearly. She lived her life through meaningful and impactful experiences, and taught those around her to do the same. She knew the meaning of living a joy filled life.
As a sister she loved to care for her siblings. She was always concerned about their well being and she took every opportunity that she had to help in any way that she could. She had a wonderful ability to care for other people while still maintaining her goofy, loving, unique personality.
Rashelle was very proud of the heritage that she came from, particularly the Swedish influence that the Anderson family shares. She was able to fall in love with the Swedish culture, also having the opportunity to visit many friends and family in Sweden. She loved to travel and was always very reminiscent of the places that she visited, consciously taking in even the smallest of details and using them to describe those places to her friends and family.
Rashelle met Tim Patrick and his beautiful daughter McKenna in the summer of 2019. They were immediately connected through a deep spiritual connection that led them to marriage in December of 2019. During their time together Rashelle helped Tim and McKenna work through the grief and pain that came with the death of Tim’s first wife and McKenna’s mom. She had an amazing capacity to love them and understand the extremely important role that she had in their lives. As she loved them she was able to realize her dreams of being a wife and a mother, something that she had hoped and prayed about for many years of her life. It was through her great faith that these dreams became reality for her.
Rashelle will be greatly missed by those of us that were lucky enough to be associated with her. Her love and generosity, her compassion and care, her passion for life and her fan-girl personality are all things that made her the woman that she was and we are better people for having been lucky enough to have her in our lives.
Rashelle is preceded in death by her younger brother Michael, her Grandfather and Grandmother Anderson, her Grandfather Campbell. She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Terra, siblings, Karl (Emily), Nathan, Mindy, Daniel (Lizzy). Her loving spouse and daughter, Tim and McKenna, his parents Herb (Jolene), his siblings, Emily (Jarad) Hardy, Natalie, Renee (Nathan) Robison, Jackalyn (Casey) Peterson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
