Ray Dean Anderson, 78, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on July 1, 2018. Ray was born on November 9, 1939 in Park City, Utah to Oren and Margaret Anderson.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ray met his sweetheart Bonnie Sue and they married on November 20, 1981. Their vows were later solemnized on April 12, 1986 in the Ogden Temple.
Ray had a journey of job endeavors. He taught auto body at the Job Corps, drove truck with a close friend, managed a mobile home park, mined, and did medical imaging. Let’s just call him the jack of all trades.
Ray loved to golf and his yearly hunting trip with the Tolman’s but his favorite hobby was going to Sill’s Café to enjoy the company and conversation with his close friends of which were more like family.
Ray is survived by his daughter Kathy McCall (Dennis) of Casper, WY; Denny Anderson of Gillette, WY; Davey Anderson of Jaspar, AL; Tiffany Vincent (Ron) of Nampa, ID; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Rita George of Colorado Springs, CO; of whom he was very close to and special friend Diann Kurill.
Ray was loved and cherished by many and will be greatly missed.
The Anderson family would like to thank the staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center for the wonderful care and compassion Ray received.
