Ray Dean Cunning CLEARFIELD - Ray Dean Cunning, Tyhee, Idaho, 61, died Friday, August 31, 2007 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He was born October 6, 1945 in Ogden, UT to Leslie G. and Nora Ida Cunning. Dean was raised in Clearfield, UT and graduated from Clearfield High. He was a Marine Corp veteran and served in Viet Nam. Part of his duties was training and preparing drug dogs. After an honorable discharge from the Marine Corp he enjoyed doing leather work and befriending those who needed his attention. He especially enjoyed his association with the VFW in the Idaho Chapter. Survived by daughter, Heather, her husband D.J, grandson Dakota and granddaughter Chrisma of Nampa, ID; brother Grant Cunning, Clearfield, sister Orlene Bettis, New York. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 12 noon at Clearfield City Cemetery. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 So. State Street. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
