Raymond Diarte

OGDEN- Our beloved son, brother, father and grandfather Raymond Diarte passed away on September 6, 2012.

Ray was born on June 18, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Raymond and Floripa Salazar Diarte. He lived his entire life in Ogden and attended Ben Lomond High School. He served in the U.S. Army, worked at Defense Depot Ogden and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Ray loved fishing, hunting, and watching sports events on TV with his family.

He is survived by his loving parents, his devoted sister Rita, brother David, sons Jesse and Joe D., and grandchildren Gabriella, Alisha, and Sheree. Ray deeply loved his family and put their needs above all else. He will be sorely missed.

Ray is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Buffy Diarte Rogers, beautiful sister Sandra Tammy Diarte, and nephew Steven.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 495 North Harrison Blvd. Friends may meet with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary Recitation at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
