Raymond B. Kleeb
RIVERDALE – Raymond Bruce Kleeb, 70, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at a local care center in Ogden.
Ray was born June 3, 1939 in Summit, Wisconsin, a son of Bruno H.G. and Ann Marie Madsen Kleeb.
Ray retired from Hill Air Force Base where he worked as sheetmetal mechanic.
He loved his 1932 Deuce Coupe. He was a gun collector and also enjoyed hunting, fishing camping, taxidermy and loved his dogs and horses. Ray loved spending time with his grandkids. He had the ability to fix just about anything. Ray was a big Jazz fan and also liked airbrush painting. He was in the movie “Drive Me Crazy” with his ‘32 Deuce which he built from the ground up. Ray received many awards from the car shows he loved and attended. Ray had a kind heart and a great sense of humor, which we will all miss.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Ty Brett (Judy) Kleeb, Malad, ID; Timm Leon (Wendy) Kleeb, West Haven; Tina Rae (Kathy) Wise, Ogden; Misty Ann (Chad) Hewitt, Orem; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and his former wives, Jennie RoChelle Purser and Cathy Collins Kleeb.
Also surviving are his brothers, John and Denny Walton and a number of foster siblings, special friends, Steve and Sheree Weaver, George and Cindy Tongate and many car show buddies.
Preceding Ray in death were his parents.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Family will meet friends at the mortuary Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.
