Our loving dad, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Raymond Wynn Lowe, 93, passed away on April 5, 2013.

Ray was born on April 21, 1919 to John and Jeannie Wynn Lowe. He grew up in Hooper and worked on his father''s dairy farm. On June 5, 1940, he married his sweetheart, Florence Emaline Lundgreen. Together they raised nine children over their nearly sixty year marriage. She passed away in February 2000.

He worked for Wheelwright Construction for six years and later became an owner-operator truck driver for Utah Concrete Pipe (Amcor, Inc.). He worked as a company driver until his retirement in 1981.

After retirement, he enjoyed spending winter seasons with Florence in Big River, California where they made many lifetime friends. Ray also loved gardening, camping, going for walks, and reading, but family was always the most important thing in his life. He dearly cherished his time with them.

Ray is survived by his daughters, Linda Ann (Buck) Heinze of Syracuse, Terri Lynn (Dan) Kozerski of Farr West, and Nancy J. Call of Layton; sons Arnold R (Pamela) Lowe of West Point, Rex C. (Janet) Lowe of Brigham City, Max L. Lowe of Ogden, Gerald W. (Rebecca) Lowe of Hooper, and Clint L. (Connie) Lowe of Farr West; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren., and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence; son, John Dennis Lowe; grandson, Robert Heinze; and great-grandson Nicholas Ray Lowe.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may meet with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., prior to the service.

Many special thanks to Hearts for Hospice for their many years of tender and loving care to Ray. Huge thanks from our family to Elaine, who was Dad''s nurse from the very beginning. He was blessed with the best- all the Hospice ladies were a huge help to Dad.
