Raymond Darrell Moss

Raymond Darrell Moss, 87, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his home.

He was born August 22, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Raymond Briggs and Beulah Mae Arave Moss. He graduated from Davis High School. He attended Salt Lake Technical College and also the School of Hard Knocks.

Raymond served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

On September 15, 1956, Raymond married Elaine Costley in Ogden, Utah. She preceded him in death November 20, 1996.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in the Bishopric. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America serving as Cub Master and a District Trainer. He enjoyed woodworking, model building, airplanes, guns and shooting.

Raymond is survived by his children, Darrell Brent Moss (Cheri), Lake Stevens, WA; Julie Rae Keyes (Delbert), Roy, UT; Douglas Dee Moss (Dawn), Willard, UT; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Howard Moss, South Ogden; and Sharon (Tom) Ryan, Ogden.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday, June 24th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
