Our loving dad, grandpa, and friend passed away peacefully on April 9, 2013 at home surrounded by the family he laughed with, lived for, and loved deeply.
He was born December 15, 1923 to Raymond A. and Olga Regina (Paskevich) Moss in a logging camp in Roseburg, OR.
Raymond served our country proudly for 22 years in the military during World War II, Korean War, and the beginning of the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Hill Air Force Base with 20 years of civilian service. For many years Raymond enjoyed vacations to Candlestick Park to see Giants games, trips to Vegas, and deer hunting trips at Strawberry Reservoir with his children. He enjoyed playing Solitaire for hours.
Raymond is survived by his five children: Raymond A. Moss III, Michael (Sandra) Moss, Larry (Jody) Moss, Derwin (Barbara) Moss, and Paula Rae Moss; two step-sons: James (Patty) Holland and Claire Eugene (Nancy) Holland; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Norman Moss and Joey Moss, a son John Thomas, and a great-grandson, Johnathan Repta.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Nations for Christ Church, 295 E. 200 S., Clearfield, UT, officiated by Reverend Richard Axmann from the Clearfield Community Church.
