Raymond was a graduate from Ogden High School. His education took him to BYU for two years and then two more years at Weber State College where he graduated with Business degree.

Our dear father has earned his wings. He taught us in this life to be strong and steadfast, to keep our chins up.

Dad earned his Navy pilot wings and proceeded to the WASP ship where he continually took off and landed during World War II.

He was an avid bowler and he thoroughly enjoyed golfing with his son, grandsons and dear friends for many years. Everyone who met my father loved him. His “RYE” humor was always there for a laugh!

Raymond leaves behind his son, Steve Wright, daughter, Jill (Bob) Scovel, his grandsons, Steven Wright, Jr. and Joshua Tieg Scovel and wife, Sonni, granddaughters, Megan Scovel and Chelsee Scovel Henry (Chris Henry), Spokane, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jayne L. Wright, two grandsons, LeeRay and Charles Wright, as well as his daughter, Charlotte.
