Rebecca "Becky" Hirschi

Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Seamons Hirschi, 41, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at her home in Roy. She was born July 7, 1968 in Murray, Utah to Larry Seamons and Marva Vail. Becky married Chris Derr. They were later divorced. Becky then married her knight in shining armor, William Karl Hirschi, on June 30, 1989. She worked as a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service. Becky always put her family first and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed singing, flowers and gardening. Surviving are her husband Bill, of Roy; five children, Krystal (Jesse) Sorensen, Brady (Holly) Derr, Brandon Derr, Kami (Robert) Stone, William Kyle Hirschi and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Marva Spiers, Brigham City and her parents-in-law, William R. and Suzanne Hirschi, Sandy, Utah. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Larry Seamons, and her daughter, Kandace Hope Hirschi. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends and family may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
