Rebecca “Becky” Pace Haycock White
November 30, 1958 ~ July 13, 2016
Rebecca Pace (Haycock) White, 57, of Ogden Utah returned to the loving arms of her mother, on July 13, 2016 at Ogden Regional Medical Center due to complications from respiratory failure.
Born on November 30, 1958 in San Francisco, California to Robert Budd and Shirlene R (Pace) Haycock, she was raised (along with younger brother Jim) primarily in Utah. Becky was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and proudly kept her scriptures open and close-by.
Becky attended schools in Weber County and graduated from Roy High School in 1977. Although, she worked several jobs, her favorite was helping her best friend in life, her mother, with a small cleaning business.
In 1985, Becky married Wes White and they divorced a short time later. Becky also had a close companion at the time of her death, Trini, with whom she enjoyed many good times in these last few years.
Becky was a tender soul, but she loved to laugh, and her special sense of humor was priceless. Becky also enjoyed several hobbies and singing, and she loved her many feline friends. In spite of some difficult challenges in life, she was blessed with a very loving mother. “Shirlene and Becky” were nearly inseparable in life, and when her mom passed, Becky’s life was devastated.
Becky was preceded in death by both parents and is survived by brother, Jim (Melinda) Haycock of Syracuse, Utah; nieces, Katie (Steve) Lane of Clinton, Utah; Ashlee (Ryan) Jones of Clinton, Utah and Shawnee Haycock of Salt Lake City, Utah. Becky was also blessed with a wonderful family of aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom she bonded, especially after losing her mother.
Becky, we all love you, and we are all very proud of you and grateful to have been a part of your life. Knowing you made us all better people.
