Reed Kim Christensen died at his home on Thursday, July 5, 2018.  He was born in Logan, Utah on September 3, 1950 to Reed Anderson Christensen and Bette Neiderhauser.  He married Debra Short and together they had three children; they were later divorced.  He married Cynthia Knight on June 26, 1999 in San Francisco, California.

Reed was reared and educated in California; he graduated from Del Campo High School in Carmichael, California.  He served as a journalist in the US Army for three years.  He had a successful tax business in Sacramento, California before moving to Utah in 2008.  He was currently employed as a sales manager at Ford-Lincoln in Bountiful.  Reed was also a Nascar drag racer and won several races and awards.  He also enjoyed watching action movies and going on trips in his motor home.   He was a member of the LDS Church.

Reed is survived by his children: Michael, Matthew, Amelia Joy, Alexander, Lauren, and Ryan, step son, Jordan;  two grandchildren; and one brother, Randy Christensen.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family one hour prior to the services.  Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
