Reed Lowe

Reed Lowe died March 4, 2010 in Murray Utah. Born October 13, 1920 in Grace Idaho to Moroni and Annie Burton Lowe. Attended schools and graduated from Grace High School in 1938.

Received his B.S. degree in Pharmacy from University of Idaho, Southern Branch in 1942. Enlisted in the U.S. Army. Married Ruth Rogers in 1944. She died in 1969. Married Thola J. Lowe in 1969.

With his brothers Sherman and Karl, he owned and operated drug-stores in various locations. He co-owned and managed the Burton-Lowe Ranches east of Grace. He and his wife, Thola lived on the ranch in Burton Canyon, Grace for many years and he loved it deeply.

He loved his work in the drug-stores, the good folks in Bear Lake and Gem Valley, all sports, horses, music, dancing and pitching horseshoes.

Preceded by sisters Elnora and Laverne, brother Harold, Waynard and Sherman and by his parents.

Survived by his wife, Thola, daughter Donna Lowe Skinner (Wayne) of Bountiful, UT; son Marty (Annie) of Fruit Heights, UT; granddaughter Cassie Swift (Ryan) and grandson Terry Lowe (Megan), great-grandson Crete Lowe; step children Monte Ogden (Colleen) of Ogden UT, Carol Tuckett (Michael) of Salt Lake City, UT and Scott Ogden (Karen) of Salt Lake City, UT. Sister Norma (Ron) Molen, brother Karl (Darlene) both of Salt Lake City, UT.

As per his request, his remains will be cremated. Memorial services will be held 2 pm Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and in Grace Idaho at a later date.
