Renae Bennett LeFevre

January 27, 1930 ~ March 2, 2016

Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Renae Bennett LeFevre, age 86, returned to her Heavenly Father on March 2, 2016.  She left her earthly family peacefully and returned to her eternal companion, Jack, who preceded her in death.

Renae was born on January 27, 1930 to Aarl and Gladys Bennett in Tremonton, Utah.  She was raised in a loving and close family.

Renae was very committed to the gospel as a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was a dedicated visiting teacher throughout her life.  She served in many capacities in the church, including serving in Relief Society presidencies.

Renae was gifted as a seamstress, making many clothes for her children, as well as quilts.  She was also gifted at crochet.  Most of her family has a special afghan made by grandma.

Renae’s posterity is very blessed by her example of dedication to the church and her family.  The example of a loving, committed relationship between Renae and Jack laid a strong foundation for their children and posterity.

Renae is survived by her six children, Susan (Clay) Carter, Julie (Russ) Brewer, Mike LeFevre, Lori Ann (Troy) Lunt, Todd (Stephanie) LeFevre, and Patti (Mike) Redford; along with 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, her brother, Jay (Ada) Bennett; two sisters, Karen Anderson and Jenele (Bob) Roundy; and her brother-in-law, Don (Bonnie) LeFevre and sister-in-law, Maris Olson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the South Ogden 7th Ward, 720 Nancy Dr.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
