ReNae Pickett
CLINTON – ReNae Pickett, 72, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born October 20, 1936 in Provo, Utah to Wilford and June Willoughby Miller.
On August 30, 1979, ReNae married Ronald D. Pickett in Ogden, Utah.
She retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.
Mom loved doing crossword puzzles, reading and listening to music. She especially loved spending time with her family, Thanksgiving dinners were the best. She loved taking trips to Wendover. She enjoyed golfing and was the only one in the family to ever get a hole in one. She enjoyed camping and the wonderful trips she took with her loving husband and family. Everyone who met and knew Mom loved her.
ReNae is survived by her husband, Ron; two sons, Jeff Stephens, Troy (Traci) Stephens; three daughters, Jan (Mike) Branz, Stefanie Elston, Tonya Tesch; a step-daughter, Rhonda J. Lister; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; her mother, June Shurtliff, and a sister, Pat (Stan) Shaw.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Wilford Miller, who passed away in WW II; the father whom she was raised by, F. L. Shurtliff, a brother Steve Miller, and her father-in-law, Clifford Pickett.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 24th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Friends and family may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
