Restituto Delgado

Restituto Ralph Delgado II, of Washington Terrace, UT peacefully returned to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his home, with his children, family and friends by his side. He was born December 29, 1955 in Ogden UT. He was born to the parents of Restituto Delgado and Angela Delgado.

Resty served our country with the U.S. Air Force.

He may have been born in Utah, but New York was his place of childhood memories. One of his favorite things to do was sing Karaoke with his friends.  He was a novice golfer, but the passion and drive he had for the game you would think he was a pro. He had a heart full of love, and would open his door to anyone in need, with a joke and a smile. What he enjoyed most was entertainment; music and especially his favorite, Sci Fi movies.  We will always honor his life by standing on the shoulders of our personal giant, and strive to look at life the way he did, the way he loved people and the way people loved him back.

He is survived by his children: Ralph and Angeline Delgado of San Diego, CA, Roberto and Sheila Delgado of South Ogden, UT, Chelsey Delgado of Washington Terrace, UT, and Sarah Delgado-Twitchell of Washington Terrace, UT.

He is also survived by his siblings Sally Aponte, Ana Delgado, Richard Delgado,

Lisa Delgado, Del Payan, Eddie Delgado, Shawn Delgado and Kimberly Delgado;

along with four granddaughters and four grandsons.  He was married twice; to Nancy Gore and Sheila Evans.

May his soul rest in peace and continue to "Do what he wants".

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden.  Friends may visit with Resty’s family on Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00, at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
