Rex L. Bingham
August 2, 1952 ~ July 25, 2015
Rex L. Bingham, 62, passed away on July 25, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Rex was a wonderful, fun husband for 45 years to his high school sweetheart, Debra Goff Bingham. They have one son and two daughters, Michelle (Gary) Beck, Brian Lee (Alexandra) Bingham, and Angi (Willie) Stewart. Rex is also survived by his mother, one brother, three sisters, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Rex was born on August 2, 1952 to S. Dee and Barbara Bingham. He was preceded in death by his father.
Rex became a journeyman plumber in 1974 and continued in this industry for most of his life. Rex and his wife owned a store called Skate Street from 1989 to 2000; a very rewarding and fun time in their lives. Rex had a positive influence on so many kids.
Rex loved golfing, fishing, and his dogs. But most of all he loved his family. Rex has been so involved in our lives, that he will be leaving a huge empty spot in our hearts and lives. He made many great friends along the way. He was a wonderful man. Those who knew him enjoyed his quick smile and great sense of humor.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
