Rex Dewey Lamb

Rex Dewey Lamb passed away peacefully at his home on June 2, 2019. He was born to Madeline Geisler and Hyrum Dewey Lamb on August 28, 1948.
He married Annette Stoney and had two sons, Shayne and Robbie. They later divorced. He married RaeAnn Petersen on May 11, 2019 after living together for 39 years.
Rex worked for the US Government for 42 years. He retired in 2007. He was awarded Superior Civilian Award in Washington DC.
Rex is survived by his wife, RaeAnn; son, Robbie; grandchildren, Braydon, Trenton, Austin, and Caitlynn; and he was also a great step-father to Malaine Petersen Colver and Lincoln Keith Petersen and grandfather to their children. He is also survived by his sister, Carol (Lyle) Hahn. He was preceded in death by his son, Shayne; mother, father, and sister, Cheryl.
Rex was an avid fisherman and he’d go fishing anytime and anywhere. His favorite fishing holes were Devil’s Creek and Deep Creek in Idaho.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
