Reyes Godina

November 3, 1973 — January 15, 2021

I am deeply grieved to announce that my father, Reyes Godina (also known as Juan), died unexpectedly on January 15, 2021 at the age of 47, in Ogden, Utah.

Reyes had siblings and is survived by his four children: David Aguilar, Omar Aguilar, Connie Ramirez, and Wendy Castanon. He is also survived by his three in-laws: Antonio Ramirez, Vicente Castanon, and Jeannie Aguilar. And followed by his grandchildren: Omar Aguilar, Ali Aguilar, Bentley Aguilar, Brazill Aguilar, Bryzlee Aguilar and one that is on the way. Last but not least he was survived by his nephew Luis Erik Gallegos, who he deeply loved.

Reyes was born in Dallas on November 3, 1973 to Miguel and Elenora Aguilar.

He was a hardworking man. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and was excited about his new grandchild. Reyes was well known and adored by his family and friends. He was the heart and soul of any crowd or party, and was a light to everyone around him. He loved cracking jokes and loved bringing smiles to people's faces. As they say, “Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.”

Viewing service will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W 5600 S Roy, Utah 84067.

We would like to thank all our family and friends who will come together to show their love and respect for Reyes. His heart will be with us
