Rhea Wing Hammer

January 30, 1929 ~ July 16, 2016

Rhea Wing Hammer, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016.  She was born on January 30, 1929 to Clyde S. and Velma Wall Wing in Roosevelt, UT.

She married Ralph R. Hammer on August 10, 1946 in Elko, Nevada.  Ralph passed away on January 29, 2002.

Rhea worked at Cutler Lab, Delmed, and retired as a supervisor from Fresenius.

She liked to fish and go camping.  She enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz and Utah Utes, but she especially enjoyed watching her Denver Broncos.

Rhea is survived by her children, Pat (William) Coleman, Daniel (Leann) Hammer, and Kathy Archibald; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, Jason Hammer; parents and brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family would like to thank Hospice for Utah for their loving care of our mother and grandmother.  Also a special thanks to my sister, Kathy, for her loving care of mom.
