Heaven is rejoicing at the arrival of the sweetest angel, Rheta Mae Ray. She went to be with God on Sunday, June 10, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 6, 1942 in Floydada, Texas, a daughter of Floyd and Donna Miller.
After completing high school she went on to get her degree in cosmetology. She married Alfred Lee Yarbrough and had three children, Kenneth, Penny, and Lisa. They later divorced and she moved to Caliente, Nevada where she met and married Richard Ray and they have one daughter, Cristal. They moved to Utah and have been here for 35 years. She worked at Denny''s restaurant and simply loved her co-workers and her customers.
Rheta was shy and funny with a warm personality who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, 4-wheeling, skiing, knitting blankets for her grandchildren and most of all spending time with her family. She had three dogs that she dearly loved. She will be missed more than earthly words can express as each of us anxiously awaits our reunion with her in God''s glorious kingdom.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Miller, mother, Donna Eyraud, brother, Arlie Miller, son, Kenneth Yarbrough, and grandson, Colton Sase.
Rheta is survived by her loving husband, Richard, daughters, Penny (Brett) Judson, Lisa (Chad) Weaver, Cristal (Jayson) Bluhm, and grandchildren, Chandler, Paige, Shyanne, Preston, Keira and McKenna.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Gray and his staff at Utah Hematology Oncology, doctors and nursing staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center, the Radiation staff at Gamma West and Hospice, Mary, Tammy and Brigitte. Funeral services to honor Rheta''s life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Friends are welcome to meet with the family prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
