Ricardo Richard D. Lopez

September 7, 1972 ~ January 13, 2016

Our son, Richard, died very suddenly after falling and suffering a fatal pulmonary embolism at his home in Ogden, Utah.  Richard was born in Salinas, CA to Christine DeLaRosa Lopez and Jesus Juan Lopez.  He passed in a fatal car accident. Richard was raised with his brother Jaime D. Lopez (Constance Brown) both of Culver City, CA by their mother Christine in Shore Acres, CA.  They will both miss him.  She later met and married Walt N. Jarvis and moved to Utah.  Walt was his dad.  The “Ole Man” in every way a real dad is.  Richard was then 21 years old and started working for production companies.  He was a hard worker and a rebel at heart.  He followed the Lord as a child and off and on through the years.  Yet, he was a music lover till the end, from Hair Bands, 80’s, Hard Rock, and even Jazz.

Richard leaves behind, his beautiful daughter, Azria Lopez who he truly loved, in his very personal and own way; always referring to her as his one and only, my legacy. Azria, his only child, from his life changing relationship with Sonya Lee Boney, born and raised in Ogden, Utah.  They never married.  Richard also leaves behind a younger brother, Jason W. Jarvis (Leslie Brooks) later divorced; nephews, Jordan D. Jarvis (Aubree and Cash) , Tyler Brooks (Emmz), and Brady Warner, Roy, UT.  He leaves four generations of Lopez’, extending from one end of CA through Mexico; aunts and uncles and all their families, too many to name.  They too are shocked and saddened by his sudden death; and many, many longtime acquaintances.  Richard will be missed.

Go rest eternally, son.
