Richard Donl Arbon, 75, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013.

He was born February 16, 1938 in Salt Lake City to John Theodore and Nancy Lucretia Ashby Arbon. Richard was raised in Kaysville and Bountiful, graduated from Davis High School and received a Bachelor of Science in History and Anthropology from Weber State University. He served from 1959-1962 in the Northern Far East Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout his life, he spent many hours studying the doctrine and history of the church.

Richard was blessed to be able to have a job at Hill Air Force Base for over 33 years that incorporated his love of aviation.

He is survived by his wife, DaVauna Lane Becker; four children: Richard Brett, Jeffrey Kyle (Stephanie), Amy Kathryn, and Emily Kristine; four grandchildren; siblings; Robert (Beverly) Arbon, Mary Beth (Lloyd) Pendleton, and Val (Bonnie) Arbon. He was preceded in death by his parents and eldest brother Alden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
